I know a lot of people are worried about finding their own style as an artist. they’ll take little bits from others and add their own, but their will always be this nagging voice in your head saying “No no no that’s not right”. It will nay say you to death. So ignore it.
I may be a barely mediocre artist myself but I just wanted to share my own evolution. All of these were drawn over the course of this year and it makes me happy. Not just to see some sort of improvement but to see how I’ve tested the waters and tried a bunch of different stuff. A great way to get better is to not become stagnate. Exploration and new things are what’s helped me and even if you can seemingly no longer draw on an “old style” of yours that your particularly like, isn’t that a good thing?
//crying I’m so freakin’ happy with this! ;D; <3 It was like an hour doodle or something like that but it turned out so much better than I thought.
